This competition is the oldest event still running at Lake Glenbawn. Gone are the old days of catch and kill to a family fun event that is now all “catch and release”. All of the monies raised go back into the dam as Bass fingerlings. If you have ever wanted to try competition fishing then this is the event for you. This is a fantastic, family friendly weekend

There are two separate sections this year (1) Lures only, (2) Lures & bait, competitors can only enter one section

Each Angler must carry their NSW Fishing licence.

All boats require a live well of some sort as the weigh in for each session is back at the start area and all fish must swim away. Yellowbelly will be measured by marshalls on the water so they wont be impacted by the warmer water and competitors trying to keep them alive for hours

There will be prizes in both sections for Bass, Yellowbelly, Silvers, & Catfish plus prizes for the junior section as well and all sub juniors will receive a prize regardless.
